Activists of the "Young Front" have visited Soviet dissidents Mikalai Konan and Anton Furs sentenced to long terms in Soviet times.
It is reported by the press service of "Young Front".
Soviet dissidents spoke about their work in patriotic organizations, the persecution by the communist regime and the life in the GULAG.
"We were eager to return to the Belarusian language, and so we have decided to unite and act," -- one of the leaders of the "Union of Belarusian patriots" Anton Furs says, who was sentenced to 15 years of Soviet labor camps in 1947.
Mikalai Konan and Anton Furs have expressed support for the Belarusian patriots, who are fighting for the revival of the Belarusian language and the return of real Belarusian symbols -- the coat of arms "Pahonia" and the white-red-white flag.
