Lukashenka's courts have demonstrated another theatre of the Absurd.
A large group of support, ill-prepared judges and perjury of police officers. This is the third day of the trials against the participants in the protests for independence in Minsk: more than 20 trials have already started, but not a single decision was made by the judges, Belsat reports.
The consideration of administrative cases has been started in three courts: Leninski, Zavadski and Tsentralny district courts of Minsk.
The Leninski district court of the capital considers 9 administrative cases against the activists at once.
The testimony of one policeman witness was not enough to make a decision against Natallia Ladutska. The judge recessed the proceedings until January 9. The sessions on the cases of Barys Dubrouski and Barys Anikeyeu were also postponed.
"I do not need the permission of the Executive Committee, as the Constitution is higher than the Executive Committee's decision, and even if the Executive Committee had banned it, he would not have the right, as this is a crime. We all must defend our sovereignty," - public activist Natallia Ladutska explains.
In addition, Barys Anikeyeu received a protocol for participating in the rally on December 20, drawn up on December 15.
"Did they already know in 5 days that I would participate in that rally? Are they some kind of Kashpirovsky?" - Barys Anikeyeu, activist of the For Freedom movement, is outraged.
Poet Uladzimir Niakliayeu did not hear the decision as well. He received a new summons for January 9. The day after, they will continue listening to the case of historian and writer Uladzimir Arlou. Uladzimir Niakliayeu believes that the trials are postponed due to the expectation of the U.S. Secretary of State's visit to our country.
The Tsentralny district court of Minsk was supposed to consider the case of Piotr Sadouski, but the hearing was also postponed. According to the man, the witnesses described not him, but another participant in the rally.
Tomorrow the cases of activists Maksim Urbanovich and Andrei Khrankou will be considered. Then the court conveyor will start its work again on January 9 and 10.
