The representative of the Belarusian National Congress noted interesting changes in the mood of people.
On Friday, September 27, two pickets to collect signatures for the nomination Slonim representative of the Belarusian National Congress Viktar Marchyk as a "candidate for deputies" in Slonim constituency № 58 were held in Zelva.
The first picket to collect signatures was held in the center of Zelva at the entrance to the market, and the second - near the Euraopt shop. It was the first picket to collect signatures for Viktar Marchyk in Zelva, Radio Racyja reports.
A lot of people were coming up to the picketers to get acquainted with Viktar Marchyk, the candidate for "deputy".
The people were actively getting acquainted and asking him various questions. More than ever before, a lot of Zelva residents expressed their support to the independent candidate for "deputies" and signed their names.
The people said that nobody would vote for Zelva official Valiantsin Semianiaka, who used to work as deputy chairman of Zelva district executive committee and now heads the local council.
Even Semianiaka's relatives came up to the collectors of signatures and said that they wouldn't vote for him either.
And when Viktar Marchyk asked them why they were so against their fellow countryman, the Zelva residents answered that the local vertical workers did not defend the interests of ordinary people in Zelva region.
The people were complaining that they couldn't finish building the clinic in Zelva. The unfinished building has been without windows for many years now and is gradually beginning to ruin. A number of other accusations were voiced against the Zelva vertical workers. By the way, Viktar Marchyk has already collected more than 1000 signatures.
