A didactics fighter for the freedom of his native country. Leader of the Belarusian resistance. In 2010, he was a candidate for president of Belarus. Mikalai is Cockroach's nightmare. The Drazdy crook not only feared to register Mikalai Statkevich as a presidential candidate, but also ordered his arrest on the first of June, 2020.

On December 14, Mikalai, along with other deserving Belarusians, was awarded the European Parliament's Andrei Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.

We demand the immediate release of Mikalai Statkevich and all political prisoners! Long live a free European Belarus!
