Activist: Winter Seems To Be Warm, But Payment For Heating Is Not Any Less

Lukashism has driven the country to poverty.
European Belarus activist Aleh Marjenka explained to the press service of the civil campaign about why the country is experiencing regular price hikes:
- Strange things are going on in our country. It would seem that winter is warm, while the payment for heating did not get any less. And this is despite the fact that fuel and electricity prices are falling all over the world, only in Belarus they are rising. The system of housing and communal services is absolutely out of public control, there is no transparency, those who rip off the population on utility tariffs - do what they want.
And the foodstuffs? It seems that if you go to the shop regularly, you do not feel a significant rise in prices for the most essential items. But if you compare two identical checks with a difference of 3 months - you will notice a huge difference. The situation is similar to that of the petrol: by a little, but regularly, and in the end one can feel the difference.
Naturally, everything about payments and prices is tied to the economy. The ruble is sinking because the economy is falling rapidly. The Belarusian ruble is not the currency, I believe. The value of our money is somewhere at the level of Bangladesh. And in order to improve our economy, the only recipe is to destroy this Lukashenka model, which has brought the country to poverty. It has to be done. Yes, the first five years may be hard, but then the whole Belarusian nation will sigh with relief.
I think that now is the right time to fix the situation, to take advantage of this year's "elections." We must remove the dictator and build a decent European country by absolutely all possible methods and means. If we do not do it now, we will continue to live in servitude.
