Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya: We May Win

A possible presidential candidate, wife of blogger Siarhei Tsikhanouski, has given her first interview.

Potential presidential candidate Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya gave a short TV interview to the Russian channel of Dozhd, Radio Svaboda reports.

In the interview, she noted that her husband, Siarhei Tsikhanouski, had become popular because he gave a voice to common people on his channel and Belarusians could express their pain and tell about their problems.

"I'm sure we'll collect the necessary hundred thousand signatures, because people have shown their civic position and are queuing all over the country to support Siarhei and sign for me.
