"Belarusians Cannot Get How One Can Break Down Barriers and Break Into Foreign Territory"

The migrant crisis through the prism of Russian and Belarusian television.
Russian political analyst Andrey Suzdaltsev analyses on his Telegram channel the main narratives of the Russian and Belarusian TV about the migrant crisis:
- The Belarusians simply cannot get how one can come to the border of Poland and Lithuania and simply break down the border fences, fight with the border guards and break into foreign territory. No crocodile's tears from the screen about NATO bombing of the blooming countries twenty years ago, the people, whose republic in 1944 was simply demolished to the level of dugouts, were convincing. After the war, neither the Belarusian nor the Russian people run for refugee benefits but stayed to rebuild their homeland. However, if one watches Belarusian, and even Russian television, one can simply gather in a crowd and break any boundaries: "Was it allowed that way?". Moreover, the Belarusian and Russian TV screen teaches hundreds of millions of people it in detail.
In this case, one should note that judging by the intercepted responses, the opinion of the Russians concerning the TV spots about the fight against any state borders fully reflects the opinion of the Belarusian population.
In Belarus, the attitude to border guards has always been sacred, several generations of Belarusians have been brought up on the feat of the defenders of the Brest fortress, who took the deadly battle on the banks of the border Bug. In Russia, the border service was treated as a heroic deed since the 1930s. Generations of Russians have admired Karatsupa the pathfinder. Russia remembers those who perished on the Damansky island, etc. Frontier Guards Day in Russia became a national holiday. The fortitude of a frontier guard, his readiness to perish, but not to let any "alien" onto his territory became an absolute truth.
All of a sudden, reports from the Polish-Belarusian border derailed it all. It turns out a border guard can cut barbed wire and build bridges for trespassers, let thousands of people into the border zone with strange passports or without them at all, beat people and rob them at the same time... The renowned Belarusian border guard does it all.
In turn, it suddenly appears that the border guard does not dare to detain anyone but must politely let any migrant/refugee through. Then what's the matter; one should open the Russian-Chinese border and organize resettlement of the remnants of the Russian population from the Far East and Siberia... If neither Belarus nor Russia needs a border guard anymore.
This paradox has become a political phenomenon by the just ended weekend. Russia, in particular, was sympathetic to Kyrgyzstan's reluctance to let refugees from Afghanistan onto its territory. But Russian TV channels are outraged that the Polish border guards do not allow those same Afghans onto their territory...
