Andrei Sannikov: Belarusian People Will Not Leave Streets Until They Regain Their Country

Belarusians steadfastly hold the bridgehead of freedom.

Leader of the European Belarus civil campaign Andrei Sannikov on his Facebook page expressed admiration for the Belarusian freedom fighters:

- The selflessness, courage, resilience and inflexibility of the Belarusians are especially vividly manifested these days, in this cold winter.

Despite frosts, snowfalls, continuing violence from the side of the punitive occupiers, arrests, the people steadfastly hold the bridgehead of freedom throughout Belarus, they do not leave the streets of their native country.

Every day for the people fighting against tyranny begins in the dark, with the raising of our flag and a solemn procession with it through the streets of the country.

Every day for the heroic people of Belarus ends late in the evening, when the battle banners are carefully folded for just a few hours, in order to turn around again the next morning and show everyone a free Belarus.

The people of Belarus took to the streets with legal and fair demands, and they will not leave until they regain their country.
