Belarus Ambassador Not To Attend Nobel Prize Ceremony

He was not invited by the Nobel Foundation.

Ambassadors of Belarus and Russia will not be invited to the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize awarding ceremony in Stockholm. This decision was taken by the Nobel Foundation. As explained, the decision was made because of the war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

The Nobel Prizes will be presented, as usual, on December 10, the day of the death of the founder of the awards, Alfred Nobel.

This year, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Belarusian Ales Bialiatski, the Russian Memorial and the Ukrainian Center for Civil Liberties.
