Ministry Of Education Leading Specialist Brutally Detained In Minsk

Criminal cases have been started against Siarhei Navumchyk.

In Minsk, the leading specialist from the Ministry of Education of Belarus, 35-year-old Siarhei Navumchyk, was brutally detained. He is accused of “leaking” data to the Black Book of Belarus (personal data of several judges are mentioned). The photo and video appeared on the Telegram channels of the security forces on Friday. Navumchyk is called a “radical” there, who previously worked in state bodies.

Criminal cases have been opened under articles on “incitement of hatred” and “illegal actions with personal data”.

The Black Book of Belarus Telegram channel specialized in publishing personal data of security officials and representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Belarus involved in repressions. Recently it turned out that for a long time an employee of the GUBOPiK was in the administration of the channel.
