Almost 250 Russian soldiers were killed during an attempt to flee across the Dnieper River.
Yesterday, the Ukrainian armed forces managed to destroy a convoy and a temporary headquarters of the Russians near the Antonivsky bridge in Kherson.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Oleksiy Arestovych, adviser to the Office of the President, on air of Feygin LIVE.
"A temporary headquarters and a column standing near the Antonivsky bridge were hit," Arestovych said.
According to him, the Ukrainian military managed to smash the Russian military column in Kherson. Arestovych explained that nearly 250 Russian soldiers were killed in the attack by the AFU.
"And another place was hit, we are working behind them, working as much as possible," Arestovych added.
On November 10, the sounds of explosions were heard in Kherson and the suburbs in the evening.
Information was made public in a number of local Telegram channels.
The first reports of explosions appeared online around 8pm. It was claimed that they were heard near the Antonivsky bridge.
A subsequent report noted that it was also loud in another district of Kherson region - in Chaplinsky district near Kalanchak (on the left bank).
The Ukrainian activist "Mykolaiv Vanek" hinted on his public page that the AFU was working on the Russian army crossings on the right bank. The activist also reassures Kherson residents: civilians are safe.
It should be noted that due to the advance of the AFU, the Antonivsky bridge and Kalanchak are 5-10 km closer to the places from where they can be hit by long-range artillery.
We remind you that the AFU is pushing the Russian army out of northern Kherson Region: the liberation of Kachkurivka, a village 30 km from Beryslav, has been reported. Furthermore, almost all of Mykolaiv Region and a number of villages to the north-west of Kherson have been liberated.
