AFU Conducting Operation To Liberate Kynburn Spit

After the Russian occupiers escaped from Kherson, the spokesman for the South Command has hinted at the start of an AFU operation to liberate the Kynburn Spit on the left bank of the Dnieper River - it has an important geostrategic significance, as that narrow strip of land "closes" the exits from the port .

It is worth noting that there has been no official confirmation or denial of the information about the attack on the Kinburn Spit, but the Defence Ministry published a video which suggests that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have crossed the Dnieper River at one of the southern points.

At the same time, according to some sources, Ukrainian fighters are moving along the spit from the western direction, heading towards the village of Geroyske - if the information is confirmed, it would mean that our troops managed to conduct a successful tactical landing right under the very nose of the Rashists. In addition, the attack by the AFU on hostile positions at Kynburn will mean that they will soon continue to de-occupy the left-bank part of southern Ukraine.

Also the liberation of Kynburn Spit will mean another shameful defeat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, even more severe than on Snake Island, and a significant strengthening of Ukraine's position in the Black Sea.

Despite having a great tourist value in peacetime, the control of Russians over the Kynburn Spit during the war allowed the enemy to bombard the port point at Ochakiv on a regular basis. In turn, this was where the loading of ships with grain was taking place. Constant Rashist attacks on Ochakiv also resulted in civilian casualties.
