Finance Ministry Employee Detained In Belarus

A former lecturer at the Belarusian State University and current employee of the Ministry of Finance has been detained in Minsk. His "repentant" video was published on November 23 by telegraph channel close to the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime.
The man is accused of subscribing to the resources, recognized by the Belarusian authorities as "extremist," as well as of transferring data about his former colleagues into the "Black Book of Belarus".
In addition, law enforcers accused the detainee of "insults" and calls for physical violence against the staff.
