The propagandists claim he was transferring information about Lukashenka in Sochi.

Andrei Kobel, former chief doctor of the sanatorium "Belarus" in Lithuania and then in Sochi, was detained allegedly for "espionage on behalf of Lithuanians". This was reported on the Belarus 1 propaganda TV channel.

"Six months ago, Andrei Kobel was detained. This is a major figure - for 10 years he was the chief doctor of the sanatorium "Belarus" in Lithuania, then he worked in the same position in Sochi, and later he headed the department of the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre in Minsk," reads the report.

It is alleged that Kobel had signed a pledge of cooperation, collected and transferred data on representatives of the regime, who were resting in sanatoriums, including information about Aliaksandr Lukashenka's residence in Sochi, which is located on the territory of the sanatorium.

It is also said that Kobel had allegedly employed those "demanded by the Lithuanian Department of State Security".
