If the Belarusian dictator goes too far, the protests will start again.
The former head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, has commented on the meeting between Putin and Lukashenka in Moscow:
"I saw this nasty scene when two old dotards were sitting around talking about "Ukraine preparing an attack on Belarus and a provocation at the Chernobyl plant". These are the people who have no honour and no moral restraints, they are total degraders. The Belarusian society sustained a severe shock the year before last and I don't think it is so stable. I think it's all there in Lukashenka's head and eyes. It is quite possible that if he goes too far, everything will roll so wide that it may even reach Moscow".
