All Russian Marine Brigades Suffer Heavy Losses in Ukraine

The Marines are one of Russia's most combat-ready and trained units.

All brigades of the Russian Marines have suffered losses in Ukraine.

The report of the Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) analysis group says.

"There is no brigade of Russian Marines left that has not suffered losses in Ukraine. Their losses are notable in light of rumours of a possible further attack on Moldova. If combat-ready units are largely lost, there is nothing left to attack Moldova, Poland or the Baltic states," the CIT reported.

Analysts stress the Marines are one of Russia's most combat-ready and trained units.

Russian losses in Ukraine

According to the AFU General Staff, Ukrainian defenders have already destroyed around 20,600 Russian occupiers.

In addition, 790 tanks, 2 thousand 41 armoured fighting vehicles, 381 artillery systems, 130 multiple rocket launchers, 67 anti-aircraft weapons, 167 aircraft, 147 helicopters, 1 thousand 487 vehicles, 8 ships/boats, 76 tanks with fuels and oils and 155 operational-level drones were destroyed.

The Ukrainian Army also destroyed 27 pieces of special equipment and 4 operational/tactical missile launchers/tactical missile systems.
