The Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed a group of the Russian FSB Alfa special forces together with the tugboat "Vasiliy Bekh". Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk reported about it on Telegram.

It is noted that those were the elite fighters of the Russian special forces. In addition, it became known that one of the dead was Captain Ilya Tsuprik, a senior operative of the 2nd Division of the "A" Department of the Special Purpose Centre of the Russian Federal Security Service.

In addition, it is reported that a group of special forces was destroyed on Snake Island - the Russian tugboat was also destroyed there.

Note: the towboat "'Vasiliy Bekh" was built at the Astrakhan shipyard and it became part of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in 2017.

We remind you that in the morning of June 17, it became known that the Ukrainian military hit the enemy tugboat with a Harpoon. This happened when the vessel was transporting weapons to the occupied island.

It was later learned that the towboat caught fire and turned into a floating bonfire. The missile hit killed 70% of the enemy crew, while the fate of the others is unknown.
