AFU Strike Against Snake Island: SAMS 'Pantsir', Radar System And Other Enemy Equipment Destroyed

Ukraine's defenders have launched a strike against enemy units on Snake Island in the Black Sea. A Pantsir S1 surface-to-air missile system, a radar station and several vehicles have been hit. This is reported by the South Operational Command on Facebook.
Two helicopter air strikes were carried out against AFU positions in Mykolaiv Region on June 21, with no casualties. Also, two guided air-to-air missiles were struck by the enemy fighter against a pair of Ukrainian planes. Thanks to coordinated work, the attack and fighter jets evaded the strike.
Enemy attempts to reconnaissance Ukrainian military positions in Mykolaiv region were interrupted by the accurate work of an anti-aircraft missile unit.
The confirmed losses of the occupants for the day amounted to 49 Russian army soldiers and officers, two Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, a tractor, an electronic warfare station, a train with ammunition, as well as five armoured vehicles.
It is also noted that the naval grouping of the enemy forces consisting of five missile ships, three airborne corps and one submarine carries the threat of missile attack with 44 cruise missiles. At the same time, stormy weather is not favourable for a landing operation.
At the same time, the sea disturbance also increases the risk of detonation of sea mines.
"One of such dangerous 'travellers' was discovered in Odessa region. The mine detonated uncontrollably in the immediate vicinity of one of the beach area. The beach buildings were damaged. Fortunately, there were no visitors on the beach and no one was injured. The sea has also brought a mine back to the coast of Koblevo. The defence forces destroyed it by controlled detonation a few metres from the shore, there was no damage or casualties," the report says.
Ukrainian Armed Forces' Strike Against Snake Island
On 20 June, dozens of explosions and a fire broke out on Snake Island, which is now temporarily under Russian occupation.
On June 21, the South Operational Command reported that fighters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Odessa Region had attacked enemy positions on Snake Island, which had been seized by the Russian occupants. The occupants suffered heavy losses.
Specialists of the OSINT88 group have posted a satellite image of Snake Island after the strike by the Ukrainian armed forces against the island. The image by Planet Labs, taken in the morning of Tuesday, June 21, shows three burnt-out areas.
