Putin First Realizes He’s Doomed To Defeat

This came as a huge blow for the Kremlin.

The entire civilized world realized that Russia had already lost this war against Ukraine. However, there was a moment when the Kremlin dictator Putin himself realized that he was doomed.

Andrey Piontkovsky, a Russian publicist from Washington, said this. He expressed his opinion during an exclusive stream on Channel 24.

According to him, the key date in the Russian-Ukrainian war was June 16 — the day of the arrival of three “capitulators” in Kyiv. This refers to French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi.

Moreover, the publicist emphasized, there was another major event: the defeat of the Russians near Kyiv.

“After that, it became clear to both Putin and the Russian generals that they would not be able to defeat Ukraine on the battlefield. They made their main bet on the so-called “peace party” with its desire to “save Putin’s face”, and attempts to persuade Ukraine to make territorial concessions,” said Piontkovsky.

However, their “mission” turned out to be a complete failure. They faced a powerful rejection of this plan. We are talking about both Ukrainian society and the authorities.

Reference. After a visit to Kyiv, Macron, Scholz and Draghi supported the status of a candidate for accession for Ukraine, and promised not to put pressure with regard to the peace issue.

“It was a huge blow for Putin,” Piontkovsky stressed.

So, Russia’s defeat is already an irreversible process. Even Moscow understands this, the publicist added.

“They, of course, are celebrating the “capture” of Severodonetsk, Tarasivka, Mamontivka with fireworks, but the strategic trend has finally taken shape. This is noticeable with every step,” he said.

He also thinks that the head of the aggressor country realized for the first time that he was doomed when none of his three ways of “victory” that Putin hoped for worked. We are talking about the following “cards” that the Kremlin dictator wanted to play:

the first was “blitzkrieg”;

the second was to use their agents of influence in the person of 3 leaders of powerful European states to force Ukraine to accept a humiliating agreement that will destroy its statehood;

and the last, 3rd way Putin wanted to win “victory” was nuclear blackmail.
