AFU Show What Russians Left Behind On Snake Island

Ukrainian intelligence officers have conducted an operation.

Ukraine is conducting a survey and clearance of Snake Island. The AFU have shown what the Russian occupiers have left behind on the island.

This is reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense.

It is indicated that the operation is carried out with the participation of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate.

"Work has been carried out to investigate and re-examine the territory and underground fortifications of Snake Island. Demining engineering works have been carried out," the statement reads.

The Ukrainian fighters found and seized samples of the enemy's weapons and equipment.

In particular, guidance and control systems, Orlan-10 UAVs, MANPAD systems, grenade launchers, flamethrowers, small arms, battle logs, personal documents of the Russian military and electronic data carriers.

A Ukrainian flag has been installed on the island instead of the Russian "tricolour."

"In addition, a Ukrainian cat, which had been living in the occupation for several months, was found and evacuated to the controlled territory," the statement adds.

We remind you that Russian occupants left Snake Island on June 30. After another successful operation of Ukrainian troops, the enemy promptly evacuated the remnants of the garrison, and later our fighters mounted a Ukrainian flag on the island.

At the same time the enemy continues to strike at Snake Island. For example, the occupants recently attacked the AFU ground forces near Kherson and the island itself.
