25 Missiles Launched From Belarus On Ukraine's Territory

Russian occupants attacked Chernihiv region in the morning of July 28. Enemy missiles hit targets near the village of Goncharivske.
The deadly shells flew in after 5 a.m. An air alert was announced at that time.
"After 5 am there were large-scale missile launches from the territory of Belarus. Preliminarily, there is information about a hit near Goncharivske. Our air defence is also active. Watch out," said Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv regional military administration.
The attack on Chernihiv Region was commented on by the North Operational Command. The military noted that between 05:20 and 06:30, 20 missiles were launched from the territory of Belarus towards Ukraine. Nine of them hit the forest in Goncharivska municipality.
There were also strikes in Kyiv region. At least two explosions were heard near Kyiv, and the Russians launched a missile strike on Vyshgorod region.
The Belaruski Hayun telegram channel reported that around 12 rockets were launched from the Ziabrauka airfield (Homel region, Belarus) near the border with Ukraine from 05:23. However, the group later reported about 25 launches.
An uneasy morning in Ukraine: what is known
The morning for Ukrainians on July 28 was not quiet. Around 04: 40 an air alert was announced in all regions. It lasted about an hour. Half an hour after stand-down, the sirens were heard again. This time the threat of missile attacks existed for just over 10 minutes.
During the air-raid alarms, powerful explosions were heard in Mykolaiv. Local telegram channels reported that the air defence system was working, but there were also "arrivals". There is no official information yet.
The sounds of explosions were also heard by residents of Kyiv region. A fire was reported on the net. The head of the regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, later said that Russian occupants had shelled infrastructure in a community in Vyshgorod district. All emergency services are working at the scene and information about the casualties is still being established.
At 06:20, residents of Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv and Sumy regions again had to go down to the shelters. This was the third time the sirens were switched on in the north of Ukraine. Telegram channels reported new explosions in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
