Volunteers: At Least 33,975 People Detained In Minsk In Two Years

Volunteers from the Lists of Detainees summed up the work over two years. During this time, at least 33,975 people were detained under administrative charges only in Minsk.

There were 757 pensioners and 6,356 women among them. It is also reported that 3,857 people were hospitalized.

Among those detained 10,645 people were arrested. A total of 140,333 days were served on political cases, volunteers say.

The total amount of fines amounted to 2,055,363 rubles.

In July 2022, at least 162 people were detained in Minsk.
