The strikes were carried out by the occupants' aviation.

On August 28, at least five missiles were launched from Belarus at the territory of Ukraine, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

Reportedly, the launches took place from 19:29 to 19:39.

At 19:14, at least five Russian Air Force planes, including supersonic missile-carrying Tu-22M bombers, entered the airspace of Belarus from Russia via Mstislavl. Then the route of Russian aviation passed through Rahachou and Kastrychnitsky district in Homel region.

The first launch was at 19:29 over Kastrychnitsky District towards the southwest, and then the aircraft immediately turned in the direction of Mahiliou. Further rocket launches were recorded at 19:32 over Petrykau district (also Homel region), at 19:35 over Kastrychnitsky district, and at 19:38 over Petrykau district. Sounds of rocket launches were also heard over Turau and Mazyr.

In addition, there were reports that between 19:38 and 19:40 five explosions or rocket launches were heard over Mikashevichy, Luninets and Stolin. Belaruski Hayun writes that most likely those were the sounds of missiles fired earlier, but repeated missile launches are not ruled out.

Between 19:44 and 19:53, about five Russian Air Force planes flew back to Russia via Mstislavl.
