Nevzorov Names Main Contender For Shoigu’s Post

In the Russian Federation, the post of Minister of Defense instead of Sergei Shoigu may be taken by Viktor Zolotov, who is now the commander-in-chief of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

“It is very possible that Zolotov will become the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation,” Russian opposition journalist and presenter Alexander Nevzorov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The journalist hinted that, as Minister of Defense, Zolotov would not create problems for Ukraine, since he was not endowed with a high level of intelligence.

“Perhaps Zolotov will become Minister of Defense instead of Shoigu. Very possible. It's not worth worrying about this. Certain problems for Ukraine at the front could be created by a minister with an IQ (intelligence quotient, IQ 91-100 is considered an average level of development of mental abilities — edit.) of at least 25, and not a solid 7, like Zolotov's,” the presenter shared his opinion.
