Suspicious people are sent back to where they have come from.
Volunteers, who arouse suspicion, are immediately sent to the polygraph. This was said in an interview with the editor-in-chief of the Gordon newspaper, Alesa Batsman, by the commander of the Belarusian regiment of the AFU, Dzianis Prokharau.
"It all starts with direct applications through the bot. There, trained people ask a number of suggestive questions, in the online format. To allow this application to be considered, so that people could come to our centre in Warsaw. When they arrive in Warsaw, they are surrounded by people who can ask them all sorts of questions, press them, ask some more tricky questions in order to identify - perhaps not even agents, but just to check the adequacy of people. After that they come to Ukraine, where polygraphs are waiting for them, interviews for more than one hour on different topics, where people just - want it or not... It's like when you talk to a person for two or three hours, a lot of things can come up," the fighter said.
The journalist asked if there were any cases of identifying "FSB agents".
"Yes, there were people who did not pass the first stages, even questionnaires. And there were people who aroused suspicion not even in the regiment, but in the training camp. We send such people straight to the polygraphs, creating our own questions. There were people who simply did not pass the polygraph. We deal shortly with such people - say 'goodbye' to them," said Prokharau.
According to him, suspicious people are sent back to where they have come from.
"They leave in the same way as they came to us. There are people who have nowhere to go: roughly speaking, it's not really clear. They have not signed a contract with us and their future fate is unclear. And there are people who simply wish to return back to Poland, for example, if they come from Poland," the regiment commander informed.
"So the scheme is humane, iisn't it?", Batzman clarified.
"Well, more or less. We just don't want any, shall we say, conflicts, something else. We're just doing our job," Prokharau said.
