Preparations For Invasion: Russian Trains With Military Equipment Are Coming To Belarus

An attack on Kyiv will be suicidal for Putin and Lukashenka.

The transfer of Russian weapons to Belarus indicates that the Kremlin may repeat its march on Kyiv. The military-political leadership of the Russian Federation, apparently, did not give up hope of capturing Kyiv. Russian is sending echelons with weapons to Belarus.

Journalist and blogger Ivan Yakovina writes about this on his Facebook blog.

He suspects that soon the Kremlin will start transferring mobilized troops to Belarus as well.

“I am sure that Putin is going to repeat last year's rush to Kyiv. But this time, taking into account all the logistical miscalculations and a much larger (10 times more) army,” the journalist wrote.

He specified that such an operation has several advantages for the Kremlin. The main one is the proximity of Kyiv to the Belarusian border, there are hopes for a quick breakthrough.

The Russian authorities also hope that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not bomb the territory of Belarus with HIMARS systems, which would make it possible to place depots and bases close to the Ukrainian border.

“Lukashenka [the dictator of Belarus, controlled by the Kremlin - Ed.], having received a nuclear weapon, turned into a ‘European-un’, a crazy psycho with a bomb who squeals that he will hit everyone who touches him,” Yakovina said.

In addition, such an operation, if successful, would allow Putin to quickly end the protracted and unpopular war as a winner.

The journalist is sure that the Kremlin's plans will not come true. On the contrary, it would be suicidal for Putin's army.

“Putin does not seem to have any other options. The hypothetical capture of Soledar or even Bakhmut will not give him anything ... Only a quick and unequivocal victory can save his regime,” wrote Yakovina.

In his opinion, the activity of Russian troops in Belarus forced the West to strengthen military support for Ukraine by announcing the supply of armoured vehicles. The next step, he believes, will be the transfer of NATO combat aviation to Kyiv.

“Perhaps it’s coming to the most important battle of this war,” Yakovina stated.
