Russian Propagandists Throw Tantrum Over Beatings Of Occupiers Returning From Ukraine

The Russian police seem to have nothing against it.

In St. Petersburg, a Russian man who participated in the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Armed Forces was beaten in the middle of the night. During the incident, the attacker reproached him for participating in the war and promised to break his second leg. The International Intelligence Community InformNapalm drew attention to the fact that this is not the first attack on the Russian military — they began to be systematically beaten, sometimes even killed. As Focus reports, community volunteers wrote about this on the Telegram channel.

The note contains a fragment of a report from a Russian TV channel about the attack on “veteran” Dmitry Tereshenkov. The attack occurred at 01:33 on October 2. A video from surveillance cameras shows how an unknown person in a black jacket ran up to a man on crutches and began to push him. Shortly after this, the “victim” began hitting the attacker with one of the crutches. A few seconds later, passers-by joined the incident and helped finish it off.

Tereshenkov complained that the Russian police ignored his appeal. He insisted that he was threatened because of his participation in the war. For example, they shouted: “Hey, bastard, come here, I’ll break your other leg.” The police listened to him carefully, but did nothing: they said that “nothing terrible happened.”

Beating of military personnel in the Russian Federation - details

From the story of the beaten man, it became clear that he fought in Ukraine on the territory of the occupied left bank of the Kherson region. In particular, he came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the Kakhovka Reservoir. Pro-Kremlin public pages note that his call sign is “Bashmak” and he distinguished himself in battles with the Ukrainians: he lost his leg and received an order.

Propagandists also mourn the mass beatings of Ukrainian war “veterans”. They indicate that this is “far from the first time.” Sometimes such people — “defenders of the Fatherland” — even get killed.
