The Russian returned from the war on holiday and suddenly "disappeared".

A mobilised Russian man came to Moscow on leave from the service and disappeared. Later it turned out that the guy fled to Yerevan via Belarus, writes the Baza telegram channel.

24-year-old Anton was mobilised at the end of September last year. A couple of weeks ago he was allowed to go home to Moscow for 14 days. Everything was alright for the first week, but on October 13, Anton told his parents that he was going to a friend's house, took 300,000 Russian rubles ($3,200) in cash with him and disappeared. His father realised what had happened when he saw his military ticket left in the flat and could not find his son's passport.

Later police officers managed to find out that on the day of the escape Anton bought a train ticket to Minsk, and from there he took an express flight to Yerevan.
