Ukrainian Forces Slash Hundreds Of Russian Troops And Weapons

The Ukrainian general indicates the direction of the attack.

In the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defence Forces had partial success west of the village of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region, according to the commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Brigadier-General Oleksandr Tarnavsky.

“The enemy carried out 10 air strikes, had 49 combat clashes, and also launched 932 artillery strikes,” he wrote on Telegram.

According to his data, missile and artillery units from the Tavria forces completed 1,228 fire missions during the day.

The Ukrainian general emphasized that the total enemy losses amounted to 409 people. Also, three occupiers surrendered.

27 units of enemy weapons were destroyed, in particular:

3 tanks;

8 armored vehicles;

7 artillery systems;

1 recoilless rifle;

4 unmanned aerial vehicles;

4 vehicles;

1 enemy ammunition depot.

Another 18 weapons and combat vehicles of the occupiers were damaged.
