War Plan For 2024: Zelensky Names Two Key Tasks To Biden

Ukraine will have to crush the Russians in one important direction.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has outlined Ukraine's plans for 2024. According to him, Kiev intends to regain dominance in the skies over Ukraine.

Although he did not go into detail, Zelensky stressed that Ukraine has a clear goal for next year.

Speaking at a joint press conference with US President Joe Biden, he said.

"We are strong on land and sea, but we also want to win the battle in the skies, to crush the Russian advantage in the air. Whoever controls the skies controls the duration of the war. And we will strengthen these positions of ours in 2024," the president said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also noted that he had discussed with US leader Joe Biden a plan to strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and the United States for next year.

"President Biden and I discussed how to increase our interaction next year. First of all, it is air defence, the destruction of Russian logistic chains on Ukrainian soil. I thank the US for its support and assistance," the head of state said.

The President also noted that during his visit to the United States he had held a meeting with representatives of US defence companies, who shared their advice on how to improve the efficiency and speed of the Ukrainian defence industry.
