China Shuts Beijing's Air Gateway From Three Russian Cities

Promises of Russian air carriers to increase the number of flights to the People's Republic of China are shattered by the harsh reality and harsh conditions on the part of the Celestial Empire.

China has banned the Rossiya Airline, which is part of the Aeroflot group, from making flights to Beijing from three Russian cities.

These are Vladivostok, Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk. The reason is the lack of service contracts.

According to RBC, the mentioned Russian airline failed to fulfil all the requirements of the Chinese side.

In this regard, flights to the capital of China, which were scheduled from the above cities this week, have been cancelled.

Thus, flights from Vladivostok were scheduled for December 18 and 20, from Irkutsk - for December 21, from Krasnoyarsk - for December 19.

None of them will be made in the near future. The company has already started contacting passengers, offering them other routes to Beijing, for example, with a connection in Moscow.
