President Of Poland Dreams Of Having Open Border With Belarus

Andrzej Duda wants our country to become part of the open world.

President of Poland Andrzej Duda has admitted that he dreams of an open border with Ukraine and Belarus. The Polish head of state said this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Nataliya Moseychuk.

Duda said that there are no problems with crossing the border in the Schengen countries. And he said he would like to see the same situation in Ukraine.

"We hope it will be the same for Belarus in the future," he added.

And he explained that everyone would like to be part of the free world. Duda also said that Poland had not had any claims against anyone. He stressed that Poles want to live in peace and calm, building good neighbourly relations.

He said that the proof of the fact that countries can live together in peace is what Poland feels, being in the EU.

"In fact, there are almost no borders between Poland and our neighbours in the European Union," he concluded.
