Syrsky On Situation In Bakhmut: We Hit Enemy Unexpectedly

The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has visited the line of contact.

The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrsky, has visited the entire clash line and the units holding the Bakhmut front.

He announced it on Telegram on 23 April.

He worked with commanders and soldiers to plan operations, assaults and defences and control the situation directly on the ground.

"We hit the enemy, often unexpectedly, and continue to hold strategic lines. Russians suffer heavy losses; we destroy their manpower and offensive capabilities," Syrsky wrote.
