Belarusian MoD Purchases Equipment ‘Against Information Leakage’ Worth Almost $900,000

The Belarusian Defense Ministry wants to buy equipment and software for "against information leakage" worth BYR 2,441,160, it’s about $900,000. Mediazona drew attention to the purchase.

The publication writes that information about the purchases appeared on the website of the National Center for Marketing. There are two tenders in total.

According to the first one, it is planned to purchase “means for centralized collection and correlation of information security events” - the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Data Loss Prevention (DLP) software and hardware systems and the Network Firewall software and hardware system. The ministry is going to pay BYR 1,400,000 for this.

The second tender is the purchase of Orion3 FG-PAM-SR2L-4E1B/4Eth-RP modems worth BYR 1,041,160.

Mediazona indicates that altogether this equipment and software provide data security.
