HIMARS Eliminates Russian S-400 Triumf Missile Control Post

Ukraine's armed forces have destroyed an enemy S-400 Triumf SAM control post in Kherson Region. A HIMARS MLRS was used in the operation.

This was reported by the Ukrainian media, citing the Spy Dossier Telegram channel. According to the source, this is the first case of hitting PBU 55K6E confirmed by photo fixation.

"Here's a photo of the defeat of the control room of the S-400 Triumph SAM," the report said.

The source said the incident occurred during an attack by the AFU on temporary weapons storage depots in Kherson Region.

"HIMARS MLRS was used. May 2023," the report added.

The S-400 ("Triumf") is a Russian long- and medium-range surface-to-air missile system, a next-generation anti-aircraft missile system (SAM). It is designed to engage all modern and advanced aerospace offensive systems: reconnaissance aircraft, strategic and tactical aircraft, tactical and operational ballistic missiles, medium-range ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets, jammers, surveillance and homing aircraft and others. Each SAM provides simultaneous firing of up to 80 targets (with 8 SAMs) with up to 160 missiles aimed at them.
