Kadyrov Releases Fake Video With Delimkhanov

Even the Russian media outlets refuted the Chechen leader.

On June 14 Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video of a "military council" on his Telegram Channel. Among its "participants" was Adam Delimkhanov, a member of the Russian State Duma, whose wounding and possible death were reported by the Ukrainian and Russian media. Journalists from Important Stories noticed traces of editing in the video that was posted.

The video shows Kadyrov allegedly discussing the course of the war with State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov, Chechen Press Minister Akhmed Dudayev and Chechen Parliament speaker Magomed Daudov. The sound in the video is superimposed and does not match the lip movements. Kadyrov's speech in which he says "Adam is alive and well" is superimposed over the video. The quality of the sound in Kadyrov's speech differs from that of the other speakers in the video, and there is also a discrepancy between the audio track and the video sequences.

Earlier claims that Delimkhanov was alive had appeared on his Telegram channel - more than nine hours after the first reports of his death. No photo or video evidence was attached to the post.

Moreover, Adam Delimkhanov is, according to the Russian state news agency TASS, "in a special military operation zone" and not in Chechnya. There have been no recent reports that Kadyrov was also in Chechnya, and he has not said anything about this himself, the BBC's Russian service reported.

We remind you that yesterday it was reported on the Internet that the member of the Russian State Duma and a relative of Kadyrov had been killed in Ukraine. Russia hastened to "deny" it. However, it was claimed that Delimkhanov was only wounded.

Kadyrov himself said that he could not find his relative, and he would not get in touch with him. Later he said that Adam Delimkhanov "is alive and well, and not even wounded".
