The dictator is blatantly lying.
In an attempt to explain the negotiations with Prigozhin, dictator Lukashenka has deceived the Russians, as his statement contains a number of inconsistencies.
Igor Strelkov-Girkin, a former field commander of the "DPR" and ex-officer of the Russian special services, has stated this.
Speaking via his Telegram channel, he accused Lukashenka of lying, calling him a traitor.
Girkin notes that in the version voiced by the Belarusian president, Prigozhin allegedly promised that none of the Russian military would die in clashes with the PMC.
However, by 5 pm, the PMC mercenaries "put down" six helicopters and a plane, killing about 20 Russian soldiers.
Moreover, it follows from Lukashenka's story that he was actually running the Russian authorities and security services manually instead of Putin.
"But it is even more important that from Lukashenka's words it turns out that he was "manually directing" all the higher authorities of the Russian Federation during the crisis. He gave orders to Bortnikov, who reported to him on forces and means..... And where was Our Eagle, Don Reba (Putin - ed.) at this time?" - Girkin stated.
As reported by Charter97.org, the leader of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, announced the beginning of a military coup. On June 24, the troops of the Wagner PMC took Rostov-on-Don and marched through Rostov, Voronezh and Lipetsk regions of the Russian Federation. Wagner's convoys with armoured vehicles entered Moscow Region and came within 200km of Moscow, after which Prigozhin announced the turn around of his army. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Prigozhin had been cleared of criminal charges of sedition and would now live in Belarus.
