Stoltenberg: NATO Is Ready To Defend Every Ally From Belarus And Russia

The Alliance has sent a clear message to Minsk and Moscow.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says that the North Atlantic Alliance is ready to protect all member states from potential attacks from Belarus and Russia.

At a joint press conference with the leaders of the seven countries of the Alliance in The Hague (Netherlands), he noted that a clear message had been sent to Moscow and Minsk that "NATO is there to protect every ally, every inch of NATO territory".

As Stoltenberg stressed, the North Atlantic Alliance is ready to defend its members from Belarus and the Russian Federation.

Also, the NATO Secretary General said that the events related to the uprising of mercenaries of the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin are "Russia's internal affairs."

When asked by journalists about any security issues that may come up with Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin and his forces being transferred to Belarus, all officials stated that it is too early to make any final judgments.
