'Gnawing Out' Every Meter: Ukrainian Armed Forces Advance In Two Directions

The Ukrainian army is inflicting serious losses on the enemy.

The Ukrainian military is continuing a counter-offensive on the front line, "gnawing out" every meter. The defence forces have advanced in two directions at once from 1.2 to 1.5 km.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Telegram of the Deputy Minister of Defence Hanna Malyar.

According to Malyar, the AFU has had success in the Rivnepil-Volodine direction, is now entrenching themselves in the achieved positions and inflicting serious losses on the enemy. In fact, they are exhausting the enemy's offensive potential by destroying equipment, warehouses, control points and personnel.

"There is an advance of 1300 m in the Berdyansk direction. The enemy is pulling up all its reserves for defence, even a brigade of marines, which once fled from Kherson," she said.

Our troops have retaken the operational initiative in the Bakhmut direction on this section of the front.

"We advanced 1,200 m in the direction of Klishchyivka. In the direction of Kurdyumivka - 1,500 m," added Malyar.

She added that the enemy is trying to hold the positions it has taken and is launching counterattacks, but is gradually retreating after the losses it has suffered.

Bakhmut

Fighting is taking place on the town's flanks. The enemy is pulling up reserves there and clinging to Bakhmut with all its forces.

"Our people are succeeding. They are now consolidating on the liberated lines. In general, the Bakhmut direction is hot again, fierce fighting continues," added Malyar.
