No one signed the contract with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin urged rebellious commanders of PMC "Wagner" to move under the control of the Ministry of Defence at the personal meeting. None of them agreed. Such information is disseminated by Wagner resources, referring to the statement of one of the PMC leaders under the call sign "Zombie", reports Dialogue.UA.
"After a meeting with the President, the commander of "Zombie" said that there were no those who agreed to sign the contract with the Ministry of Defence: "I am either in the PMC "Wagner", or I am happy to relax at home in front of the TV. And that's what everyone thinks," reported the Russian resource.
Russian blogger Anatoly Nesmiyan (El Murid) commented on the situation. He was not surprised that the Wagner fighters refused the dictator's offer of "employment".
"My vassal's vassal is not my vassal... Putin can punish and pardon their leaders (of the Kremlin groups - ed.), being the supreme pakhan in this thieves' hierarchy, but the gangs themselves are subordinate not to him, but to the leaders... The chief pakhan cannot directly control the gangs - he has to negotiate with criminal oyabuns, who, of course, obey him, but at the same time they have their own strict obligations to their "labour collectives"... Russia today has returned to a wild state, and therefore archetypal models of social structure and state governance have surfaced," the expert said.
