‘Belaruskaya Vyvedka’: Lukashists Want To Leave Belarusians Without Schengen Visas

The regime wants to leave two or three centers for obtaining visas in the country.

A year and a half ago, we warned about a set of measures taken by the KGB to reduce the ability of Belarusians to obtain EU member states visas. We have learned about the recent meeting in the central office of the KGB on a set of measures to deter the ability of EU consulates and visa centers to issue visas to Belarusians, writes the Belaruskaya Vyvedka (Belarusian Intelligence) Telegram channel.

The outcome of the meeting was a positive assessment of operational work in this area. KGB Chief Tertel, citing an "instruction from above", set the task of intensifying the work: within the next 6 months, to leave the possibility of obtaining visas in only two or three centers or consulates.

The Main Directorate of Counterintelligence has been tasked with literally “knowing every traveler”, i.e., to have operational information on almost all potentially interesting citizens crossing the EU border, to identify citizens who have passports or residence permits in the EU.

They cooperate with the Border Committee in this matter. The Intelligence Directorate and the 4th Main Directorate of the KGB were ordered to intensify undercover and recruiting work in relation to citizens of the Republic of Belarus who often travel to the EU and live in the EU.

Conclusion. Do not delay obtaining visas, try to do everything possible to register in advance, as the possibilities for obtaining an EU visa will be reduced to a minimum by the Lukashists.
