Top Manager Of Large Company From Minsk Wrote More Than Thousand Messages About Lukashenka And His Servants

The man was arrested for "insulting the president".
The criminal case against the top manager of a large company that supplies computer equipment to Belarus has become known.
According to the investigation, "from October 2020 to April 2022, the 46-year-old Minsk resident insulted the President of the Republic of Belarus, top state officials, employees of the Investigative Committee and judges online, publicly humiliating their honour and dignity".
Law enforcement agencies counted that the man wrote more than 1,100 different messages in "extremist chat rooms" and committed "more than 140 episodes of criminal activity" over the two years.
The case was brought under three articles: insulting the "president" (Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code), publicly insulting a representative of the authorities (Article 369) and insulting a judge (Article 391). The detainee is married and has a son.
