AFU Show How They Strengthen Border With Belarus

Ukraine continues to reinforce its border with Belarus. The border area in the Rivne region is being mined and additional observation posts are being set up. This was announced by Serhiy Nayev, the commander of the United Forces of the AFU.

- Tens of thousands of mines have been laid, 20% of which are controlled anti-personnel mines.

According to the commander, the number of observation posts on the border has been increased by more than 60, and new support positions are being created.

The Rivne region of Ukraine borders the Brest and Homel regions of Belarus.

Earlier, Naev checked the readiness of the military to resist the invasion from the territory of Belarus, including the mercenaries of the PMC Wagner in the Chernihiv region.

A published video showed a bridge being blown up at the Komarin-Slavutych border crossing.

Now only one of the 12 border crossings on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, Domanovo-Mokrany, is functioning. It serves as a humanitarian corridor for Ukrainians leaving the occupied territories and travelling through Belarus to Ukraine, said Iryna Vereshchuk, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
