Today, the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Pershamaisk, Shchuchyn district, Antoniy Adamovich, was detained, reports Khrystsiyanskaya Viziya. It is noteworthy that the law enforcers tried to detain the priest in the church itself, but people did not allow it. The plebania of the church was searched.

As Khrystsiyanskaya Viziya writes, at the beginning of the week the priest was summoned to the village council, there he was questioned and his phone was taken away for checking. Today's detention was probably a consequence of this check.

Priest Antoniy Adamovich is from Hrodna region, a graduate of the local theological seminary. He was ordained a priest in November 2009.
