Russians Expanding Airfield In Mazyr District

Satellite images of the airfield in the Mazyr region showed new construction work, Flagstaff writes.

The change in relief took place on the unpaved part of the old airfield near the village of Vialiki Bokau in July-August this year. The quality of available satellite images does not allow us to determine what work is being done there.

In early 2022, the airfield was used to host Russian helicopters to attack northern Ukraine. Subsequently, the airfield remained under the control of Russian troops.
