Ukrainian Forces Crossed The Dnipro River Planting The Ukrainian Flag And Gaining Foothold On The Left Bank

The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine raised the flag of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. According to journalist Kostyantyn Ryzhenko, the flag was planted near Oleshki. The Ukraine 365 Telegram channel published a fragment of the video, according to dialog.ua.

The local publication Most notes that the video shows the Dorozhnik Garden Cooperative, located in the actual “grey zone”. The raising of the flag of Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region was also confirmed by the Kakhovka City Military Administration.

Military expert Yan Matveev notes on Twitter that, in all likelihood, the flag was planted by a small sabotage group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, however, judging by the video, they were feeling quite confident there.

“So the Russian troops do not fully control the river bank,” he said.
