About 200 occupants were liquidated.
New details of the spectacular strike by the AFU on the Russian training camp on the island of Dzharylgach in Kherson region have emerged. Preliminarily, about 200 Russian occupants lost their lives in this strike.
This was reported by the Euromaidan edition, citing informed sources.
The large military base Dzharylgach was discovered by the Ukrainian army thanks to a tip-off. The AFU sent a reconnaissance drone there, which confirmed the information. The HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system which once again demonstrated its high efficiency was used for the strike. The Russians suffered heavy losses in manpower and hardware.
"The Russian military felt quite comfortable and relaxed at this remote base, which was more than 85 kilometres from the front line in Kherson region. Despite the fact that trenches were dug near the coast, no one expected a large-scale attack, the Russian military kept the hardware in plain sight. But the biggest mistake was the habit of gathering soldiers in a line outdoors every morning. The Ukrainians noticed this pattern," the publication reported.
As a result, 5 units of the Russian army that were training on Dzharylgach were hit.
"The Ukrainians waited until all the Russian units were outside and liquidated them simultaneously. The Russians lost up to 200 of their soldiers," the journalists reported.
It should be noted that the moment of the strike was captured on video by a Ukrainian spy drone. The AFU fired 5 HIMARS missiles at the Russians, which hit the target accurately.
A tremendous hysteria broke out on Z-channels on this occasion, Russian military bloggers started accusing the command of setting up soldiers.
