People's Artist of the USSR Vera Vasilyeva died at the age of 98. This is reported by the press service of the Theatre of Satire.

In 1945 Vera Vasilyeva debuted in cinema in an episodic role in the film of "Gemini". The first big role played in 1947 - Nastya Gusenkova in the film "Tale of the Siberian Land".

Total filmography Vasilieva has more than 40 works, among them "Wedding With Dowry", "Screen Star "," Minors "," Carnival "," Marry The Captain "," People Of My Valley "," Investigation Conducted By ZnaToKi " and others.

Vasilyeva served at the Moscow Academic Theatre of Satire, where she played over 60 roles.
