A shop for the production of electronics for missiles is on fire in Lyubertsy near Moscow after a Ukrainian drone attack.

An interlocutor in the Ukrainian Defence Ministry informed Ukrainian Truth about it.

In the morning of September 1, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on his Telegram channel that Russian air defences had prevented another attempt of a drone to get into Moscow.

"Another attempt of a drone to approach Moscow has been foiled near Lyubertsy. Preliminarily there are no casualties and destruction. Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident. Thanks to the military for not letting them spoil our Day of Knowledge!" he wrote.

At the same time, the UT source refutes Sobyanin's words, noting that the drone reached its destination and now there is a fire in the workshop of the Tomilin Electronic Plant in Lyubertsy.

"Operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate, everything went well, continuation follows," the Ukrainian Defence Ministry said.

The Main Intelligence Directorate does not officially comment on the above events. At the same time, Andrei Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defence Ministry, noted in a comment to the UT that Russian propaganda had released another lie about the downed drone and confirmed that the Russian factory in Lyubertsy had indeed been hit on Friday.
