Blinken: West Is Considering All Ukraine’s Weapons Requests

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at a press conference with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that Western partners are considering all requests from Ukraine for military support with weapons, including long-range ones.

Asked about the possibility of the United States supplying longer-range missiles to Ukraine, Blinken said: “We are constantly reviewing what additional support would be useful and effective for Ukraine at this time.”

According to him, it also takes into account how this can contribute to the development of the Ukrainian army in the future so that it can successfully deter any potential aggression.

The US Secretary of State emphasized that it is important not only to strengthen the Ukrainians with critical weapons systems, but also to provide training for the effective use and maintenance of these complex systems. Therefore, according to him, all factors are taken into account.

“I can simply say that any system that is discussed, including in the media, is obviously under active consideration,” Blinken concluded.
